House Sparrow
Just a little house sparrow taking off.

Pine Grosbeak
A few pine grosbeaks came to visit our cabin. So fun. So chonky.

Bohemian Waxwing
Found a group of waxwings gathered at the lake. Most hid in shade, but was able to snap this one coming in for a landing. Such pretty colors!

House Sparrows
I may have interrupted an important meeting. Sorry House Sparrows, carry on!

Common Loons
This photo doesn’t give justice to the spectacle we paddled through. I’ve seen loons before, but never this many. There were hundreds, maybe thousands. Many were like the one on left, which we later learned were non-breeding adults. Prince Albert National Park continues to be an amazing treat for wildlife.

Juvenile Bald Eagle
I saw more juvenile bald eagles this year than I ever have. This one was kind enough to pose for quite a while as we paddled on Crean Lake in Prince Albert National park a few weeks ago.
